bin laden photo

I agree with Obama's decision to not release the photo. I really like what he said when he declared "we dont need to spike the football". Putting the picture out for people to see could cause trouble if someone was angry about his death and thats the last thing this country needs. They already got bin laden why flaunt it when that could create tension. Its unneccesary and who really cares to see a picture of a dead guy, knowing he is dead is good enough.

week 12 newspapers and magazines

Newspapers can remain relevant in the information age because there is still some benifits to looking in the paper. People look for jobs in the paper and especially now when so many are unemployed it is important to look for work. There are ads in the paper for a bunch of different things and people post them when theyre looking for some kind of help so its good for both sides. Another good thing about the paper is that you can get it delivered to you. Its also really cheap to buy and it gives you local news so you can know what is going on in your city.

sitcom analysis

The concept of American family has changed over the years as portrayed in the sitcoms we watch. Things change over time and new generations want to watch something they can relate to. The older sitcoms like Brady Bunch and Leave It To Beaver are more basic and show life as a typical American family at that time. Another thing about the older shows is that they don't show some of the things you see on sitcoms now like sex, violence, drugs, and language. They are more appropriate for the time period in which they were made.

Audiences have expectations when they turn on any sitcom. Almost all sitcoms are similar because they use the same structure. There is just a few settings and several or just a few characters. There is always a problem that comes up toward the beginning of the show and the rest of the show is dedicated to fixing that problem. People are also expecting to laugh when watching sitcoms because they are supposed to be funny as well as have a good plot for each episode.

If my graduation from stevenson was the plot for a sitcom it would take place at the school and at my buddys house where we all hangout. The episode would be about me having to pass a class in order to graduate. That would be the problem or issue that comes up in every sitcom and the episode would be about me doing everything i can to pass and maybe some funny things that happen along the way and in the class. The complication would be all the work i had to do and how it interferes with my life . The climax would be me passing the class and graduating.

the truman show

Other reality shows are similar to The Truman Show in a few ways. I know people who are obsessed with some of the reality shows out there just like the people watching the Truman Show were. In some of the shows people are having their lives taped and they're always in front of the camera like Truman. The difference is that Truman didn't know he was having his life taped and anyone on any reality show will know they're on camera. The public reception of reality tv is similar to that in The Truman Show because it has somewhat of a hold on society since so many people watch it, for example, jersey shore has everyone talking about it and watching it as annoying as it is it's extremely popular. The thing that's different is that the public would not find it okay to tape someones whole life without them knowing and force them to live one big lie like the Truman Show.

eagle and baby eaglets

I think the website has received so many hits because eagles are endangered. People want to see the birth of a new generation of eagles. Maybe people are also being patriotic. Eagles are our national bird. Theyre also really cute.
